Your Data Stays With You
TerviewSky is designed with privacy at its core. Your personal information, CV, cover letter, interview transcripts, and session logs are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to this content -ever.
When you use your own AI provider (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter), your prompts and responses go directly between your device and that provider. We never see or intermediate that data -your API keys, your provider, your data.
What We Do Collect
To operate the service, we collect the minimum needed:
- Account info -email, name, and a device identifier (for login and device limits)
- Billing data -handled entirely by Stripe and Polar; we never see your card details
- Basic service data -session timestamps, credit usage, and app version for billing accuracy and support
We do not collect your interview content, transcripts, screen captures, documents, or AI responses.
Third-Party Services
When cloud-based features are used, your data flows to carefully selected third-party providers. We partner only with industry-leading names - world-class AI companies, trusted payment processors like Stripe, and best-in-class infrastructure providers - because we take your privacy seriously and we choose partners who do too.
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only work with those who meet our standards for data protection and respect for users.
Using Our Managed AI Providers
You may optionally use TerviewSky's managed AI models instead of connecting your own provider. When you do, your session data is forwarded through our infrastructure directly to the underlying AI provider.
If users choose a TerviewSky-offered model, their submitted content may be processed by third-party AI providers on our behalf. We take reasonable measures to secure access to those providers, but provider-side processing remains subject to the provider's own systems and policies. TerviewSky does not assume responsibility for the independent security, privacy, or data-handling practices of those providers. Providers may include OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, and Inception Labs. Users who want stricter control should use their own API credentials where available.
Data Deletion
You can delete all local data at any time from Settings > About > Reset All Data. To delete your account and all server-side data, submit a request through our feedback page.
What TerviewSky Is
TerviewSky is an AI-powered coaching assistant that helps you prepare and practice for interviews. Features like screen and audio capture are practice tools that run entirely on your local device -we do not collect, access, or store any of this content, ever.
Use At Your Own Risk
You use TerviewSky entirely at your own discretion and risk. We provide the tool as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
- Interview outcomes or employment decisions
- How you choose to use the coaching suggestions
- Any violation of your employer's, interviewer's, or platform's policies
- Loss of data on your device
It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the rules of any interview process you participate in.
Account Rules
- One person, one account. Account sharing is not permitted. We enforce a maximum of 2 devices per account.
- No harmful use. You may not use TerviewSky to harass, deceive, stalk, or harm others.
- No abuse of infrastructure. You may not attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with our services, AI models, or backend systems.
- We can suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion, with or without notice.
Subscription & Credits
- Free tier allows browsing settings and documents but cannot practice interviews
- Trial and paid plans are credit-based; credits are consumed during active practice sessions
- Lifetime purchase grants unlimited access
- Practice sessions are limited to 2 hours maximum
- We reserve the right to modify pricing and credit structures with reasonable notice. Any changes apply to future purchases only.
Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use TerviewSky.
Intellectual Property
TerviewSky and its branding, code, and design are the property of TerviewSky. The AI-generated content produced during your practice sessions belongs to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TerviewSky shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction where you reside.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
